Wow, it is already October 10!

I have been a bad blogger, but if you read my last posts, I have been really busy at work. And I have been out of town 2 weekends in a row. Last weekend I went to my college homecoming. I went to a small liberal arts school in North Carolina. It is a beautiful campus, and the weather was gorgeous. I was able to catch up with some of my friends. And the best part about it was the knitting shop across from the campus. I snuck away in the afternoon after the football game, and I happened upon some beautiful hand dyed silk from Nepal. I will definitely post a picture when I can find my camera. I think I may venture in the the Clapotis craze and use it for that. I also bought some stuff for my secret pal.

This past weekend I went to Washington, DC for my dad's birthday. He turned the big 6 - 0 and through himself a party. So I had to represent the family since my granddad recently had surgery, and my sister is about to add a new addition to the family. My aunt and brother were there too. It was a lot of fun. But I made my dad take me to Knit Happens yesterday. You know that they have Lorna's Lace in their signature pink and green, made just for them! I didn't get any, but I did buy a pattern book, and I am going to get the yarn to make a sweater from there online store. I racking up the projects. With such little free time.

And I really need to start looking for a job!

I have made some progress on the FBS. I am in the second set of repeats in the lower pattern. It is going okay. But, I better get back to my presentation for Wednesday. I need to practice! I will write more later.

Awwwwww! I'm so jealous you got to go to the reunion. I looked for pictures on the website, but they aren't up yet. The weather this fall has reminded me so much of college. I don't know why. I'm just a nostalgic sap these days. Give us a picture or two, lovey.
